My background is in hip-hop, street and jazz dancing. I’ve performed on stage with Jay-Z, Beyoncé, the Black-Eyed Peas, and appeared on numerous TV shows including the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. I also competed in gymnastics and track and field for 13 years. Right now I’m a Nike Master Trainer. I became a trainer because I loved moving. People saw my passion and wanted to train with me. I like to mix Training, Running, Yoga and Dance, and I hope to pass along the sense of accomplishment that training gives me to whomever I train with.
Knowing that there are always ways for me to be better than the day before. That’s what keeps me going.
V-ups. It’s a core conditioning move we used to do during gymnastics when I was younger. They still kill me every time.
I’ve always loved Westville in Chelsea. I have my go-to dish: kale/quinoa salad with salmon.
African Dance Class. I just love the live drummers creating the rhythm and the energy. It forces you to be present, move naturally and let go.
I take so much joy in dancing. My goal is to teach fun choreography—I want to empower people to let go and learn to dance.
